The call

Which call are you dispatching?

Bank Robbery

Difficulty 5/10 · 1 responder

An armed robbery in progress. This is a straight fight, and the only question is whether whoever you send can absorb the hits.

Getting something out of it

Watch the bottleneck

The odds track the stat you clear by the least. Golem's Combat 9 does nothing for a call that also wants Mobility 8.

Try it fatigued

Mark a hero fatigued and re-read the bars. -2 to everything is what turns a comfortable pick into a coin flip.

Test the flagged pick

Some heroes clear the stats and still make the call worse. The simulator penalises those the way the game does.

The game hides its real odds

This readout is the raw stat margin. The game layers hidden guardrails on top, which AdHoc confirmed at GDC — so an in-game result can differ from the numbers here.

  • Anything shown above ~76% auto-succeeds; after a rare high-odds failure, a few auto-wins switch back on.
  • Any displayed chance from 1 to 14 is floored to 15% — there are no near-zero calls.
  • Stacking a stat too high (especially Combat) can auto-fail a call, so match the requirement rather than max it.
  • Episode 8 switches every guardrail off, which is why the finale feels far harder.
